Recommit To Him Today

Where are you trying to run to? What are you trying to run from? What is consuming you? I just want to remind you to run to Jesus, to run into His open arms. Stop trying to run from your problems, this never solves anything and life will always be full of them. Learn to leave your problems at the feet of the cross (help me Lord). Do not allow the cares of this world to consume you any longer. Even the good things in life will want all of your desire and love. Instead, make a decision to commit fully to the Lord in your heart. When we give our heart to the Lord and allow Him to make room in the entirety of our being, He fills us with the Holy Spirit. It’s the power of the Holy Spirit that allows us to do what is good and pleasing to Him, we cannot do this in our flesh. We cannot find hope in this dark world, we never will. Life is full of disappointment and let downs. Sometimes by others and sometimes from ourselves. Yes there is much good too but all that is good is from God above. Let us not forget every blessing is from Him alone. I just wanted to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. Stop running from or after anything besides the Lord. If we seek Him with our whole heart, God promises to be found by us. We have a God who wants a personal relationship with us, every single day, every moment of the day. Allow Him to take full control of every area in your life. Stay in prayer daily and in His word. God is doing a work in us His church. He wants to clean up our mind, heart, home, etc. Give Him the position He deserves, allowing Him to be LORD over you and not just your Savior. He loves you, He is for you and not against you, recommit fully to Him today and ask Him to guide you from this moment on according to His will. I love you, keep going sweet friend.

Father, we need You. More than the air we breathe, we need You. Forgive us Lord for the times we fail You. Renew in us a clean heart and put Your spirit inside of us. Take residence in our hearts, fill us completely with more and more of You. We give You our heart, mind, and soul. Everything and all that we have and are, we lay at Your feet. We give You the very desires of our hearts and ask that they be pleasing to You. We give You our devotion and our trust. Help us Holy Spirit to walk with you so that we wouldn’t satisfy the lusts of the flesh. Help us Lord to honor You, to worship You in spirit and in truth. Come alive inside of us Jesus. Help us to keep our eyes solely on You. Never let us go Father, always bring us back to Your throne of grace. Thank You for the cross, thank You for the finished work on Calvary. Thank You for redeeming us and calling us Your own. We love You, in Jesus name, Amen.
