Beauty of Easter Sunday

Perhaps the beauty of Easter is the remembrance that even death was defeated by the precious blood shed by our Savior. The penalty for sin was paid and a ransom was given on our behalf. That even in the darkest of times, there is hope for those who place their life and trust in Jesus Christ. The One who died and is risen, who holds life and death in the power of His hands. Who the Father has placed every single thing under His feet. It is by His wounds that we are truly healed. This is the glorious news that we proclaim and confess when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. He alone is the Perfector and the Finisher of our faith. No matter our struggle or the season we find ourselves in, rather life is blooming or raining down on us; let us rejoice for the tomb is empty and our Lord is risen just as He said! Allow Him to take ownership of every part of your life and let the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit defeat every weapon formed against you. He is our victory! He died for you, He rose for you, and He is coming again… stay encouraged sweet friend.

Lord, as we celebrate and are reminded of Your resurrection this Easter Sunday.. may this not be just a day but a lifestyle of honoring and glorifying You. Thank You Lord for dying for our sins and for shedding Your innocent blood to be with us forever. Thank for doing what we could not do for ourselves. Take root deep in our heart, mind, soul, and in every aspect of our life so that we can live out the purpose You have for us. Help us to live for you whole heartedly and to offer our lives everyday as a sacrifice unto You. We love you and we need You more than the air we breathe, in Jesus name, Amen.
