Victory (poem)

Oh darkness, you cannot stay
My God is the light of my salvation
He will enlighten my way
Oh hopelessness, you cannot stay
My God is always faithful
He is able to uphold and sustain
Oh brokenness, you cannot stay
My God makes beauty from ashes
The pain He takes away
Oh emptiness, you cannot stay
My God fills up my cup
Overflowing with His grace
Oh bitterness, you cannot stay
My God lives within me
I choose to forgive anyway
Oh loneliness, you cannot stay
My God never leaves or forsakes
He is with me every step of the way
Oh weakness, you cannot stay
My God shall supply my needs
His blood is power and strength
Oh fear, you cannot stay
My God is the prince of peace
He fights my battles when I pray
Oh enemy, you cannot stay
My God has already defeated you
I have victory in Jesus name
