When does the pain end? I don’t know. Is God still faithful in the midst of disappointment? Always. That is the one thing I do know and what I grip and cling to when life is falling apart. I don’t know when things will get better or when this trial will truly end. But I do not face this alone, I know I have a God who never leaves or forsakes me. He promises to fight for me and I am trusting Him through every heartbreak, through every storm. I still believe He has a good plan for my life and even the most devastating circumstances are still products of His glory. With every tear (which is so many these days) I continue to crown my King. With my pain, I crown Him. With my broken heart, I crown Him. He is worthy of it all. He gives and He takes away yet blessed be the name of the Lord. Keep going sweet friend.

Father, I give you my tears, I give You my broken heart. I crown You with my pain and I pour my life into Your hands once again. Take every broken piece and make something beautiful as only You can do. Even when I am overwhelmed, still You are faithful, still You are true. Nothing and no one will ever compare to You. Remind me of Your goodness when sorrow comes, when disappointment is near. Thank You for promising to help me, for never leaving my side. Please help me now, in Jesus name, Amen.

Valeria, you sharing your faith and your daily walk with Christ through the dark forest and rugged mountains of life is a great encouragment to me as I am struggling too, you’ve come along and taken my hand and said come, and lets walk with Jesus in the dark together. You are my true friend and beloved sister in Christ. In my heart I can see and experience the green pastures the Lord is leading us to.
