Dear Hurting One

If only you knew how loved you are. I know you don’t feel it now but I’m praying God reveals it to you. You’re loved more than you can even imagine. You’re desired, searched for, never ignored, wanted, chosen and adored by the God of the universe! Tears might be falling but healing is coming. Do you hear Him, do you see Him? Close your eyes and cry out to Him, let Him into the broken pieces of your heart. I know others let you down. I know they left you hurting, but His love never fails. You can trust Him, He never breaks a promise. How He desires to ease the pain, how He longs to comfort you. Rest can be found at His feet. All that weight, all that heaviness on your shoulders, you can let it go. He exchanges grace for shame. Mercy and love is yours for the taking. He promises to wipe away every tear and give you purpose for the pain. Run to Him and watch the cares of the world fade away. As you press in and worship at His feet, the Holy Spirit comes in and removes the lies of the enemy. Be washed in His blood, sing and make melody to Him on the throne. To the One who loves you so much, He spread His arms and died in your place to be with you forever. Our true best friend. Our Good Shepherd. The One who never leaves, never walks away. When we feel unloved and unwanted, when life is difficult and doesn’t make sense, when all is lost.. even then, His love remains. Strong enough to break every stronghold. Bright enough to remove the darkness. His strength replaces weakness, His joy replaces sorrow. I love this saying by Pastor Miles McPherson, “all of Heaven is rallying for you”. Did you hear that? Yes, ALL of Heaven is rallying for you! Look up to the clouds and remember who your Maker is! It’s always too early to give up, grab hold of hope. God has you, glory is ahead… keep going sweet friend.

Father, I pray for all who are hurting. All those who feel abandoned, who feel lost and afraid. Those grieving and suffering great pain. Comfort them Father, comfort them like only You can. May this bring them to their knees before You. Heal them Lord. Bring the healing from Your wings and cover them in protection and grace. Remind them of the love that died for them, remind them of their place with You. Glorify Yourself, even in this. Thank You for being the God who sees and hears us, who never leaves. Open eyes to see Your beauty, open ears to hear Your Word. Draw us closer to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
